Welcome to another great tutorial. In this tutorial,you are going to learn how to make you images look just “super cool!”
I’ve decided to put my original and final images side-by-side so that you can make your judgements.

Well, let’s see how its done.
Open the picture to which you want to apply this effect. I chose this girl’s picture because I found it suitable for the purpose.
Duplicate the layer by going to the menu then Layer>Duplicate Layer, then hit OK.
Now Invert this Layer by pressing Ctrl +I on Your keyboard. You should have something like this…
Set the blending mode of this layer to Color Dodge in the layers palette. Don’t be surprised if you have an almost blank canvas (This is the most important step).
Now desaturate this layer by pressing Shift + Ctrl + U on your keyboard.
See after desaturating you are almost there!
Go to Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur and set it to 1 px.(You can play around with the settings a bit till you’ve got the result you want.)
