Creating web header for a car rental site

Start by creating a file of header size. Apply a dark blue to dark gray gradient.
Insert an image of a car.

Change the layer mode to soft light and opacity to 20%.
Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.
Change the layer mode to vivid light.
Create a couple of rectangles and play around with their layer modes.
Insert another image of a car.

 
Ctrl click the rounded rectangle layer that is just below this image. Click the create layer mask button at the bottom of the layer window.
Using line too create some thin lines as shown below.
Change the layer mode to overlay.

Create a circular frame shape using custom shape tool and change the layer mode to soft light.
Create a few more small rectangles, arrows and circular frames. Change the layer mode to overlay.
Create a few more thin lines of dark color.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Change the layer mode to vivid light.
Type link names over this rectangle and change the color mode to vivid light.
Insert another image of a car. Scale down and place as shown.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Similarly insert more images and apply same layer style.
Place company logo on top left.
