Bloody Sawblade

We'll begin this tutorial, by creating a star shape using the "Polygon Tool" with the below settings.

This is what it should look like. Rasterize the layer and move on to step 3 to continue.

Now grab the "Eliptical Marquee Tool" and while holding the "Shift" key in on the keyboard, drag a selection along the outside edge of the blade. Now instead of using the "Shift" key, use the "Alt" key and drag out yet another selection on the inner part of the blade as shown below.

Now go to the main menu, click "Filter" then "Distort" and lastly "Twirl." Angle will be at 500. Click "OK." Deselect and the following should look familiar to yours.

		Now right click on the star layer and select "Blending Options..."Now click on "Drop Shadow".
			use the settings at left.
		Do not click ok yet...still much more to do.

		Now click on "Color Overlay".
			use the settings at left.
		Do not click ok yet...still much more to do.

		Now click on "Gradient Overlay".
			use the settings at left and settings in step 8..
		You may now click "OK."

You should now have the following image.

Now, using the "Elipse Tool" create a circle and use steps 5 through 8 to complete.

Duplicate the newly made circle layer and shrink it as I have done below using the "Free Transform" tool.

Now, using the "Elipse Tool" create a small white circle as I have done below.

		Now right click on the white circle layer and select "Blending Options..." Now click on "Inner Shadow".
			use the settings at left.
		You may now click "OK."

You should now have the following image.

Now create a new layer and fill. Go to the main menu and select "Filter" then "Noise" and lastly "Add Noise." Amount = 400. Make sure that "Gaussian" and Monochromatic" are both checked and click "OK."

Now "Ctrl" click the very first layer to create a selection around it, inverse the selection, make sure you are still on the noise layer and hit "Delete" on the keyboard. Turn the "Fill" down to 0% and the "Opacity" down to 40%.

		Now right click on the noise layer and select "Blending Options...Now click on "Color Overlay".
			use the settings at left.
		You may now click "OK."

You should now have the following image.

Next you can grab the "Eraser Tool" with a size of about 50 and a soft edge brush, with the opacity at 45% and begin erasing some of the colored noise as I have already done below.

Now for the fun part...Click the "Brush Tool" on the tool bar and on the options bar select the "Spatter 59 Pixels" brush.

Create a new layer and make sure that 951B1B is your foreground color and click only once on your saw. Change the "Blending Mode" to "Color Burn."

The Results!!!

Duplicate that layer, shift to the right one pixel and change the "Blending Mode" to "Darken." Now using the "Smudge Tool" at a "Stregnth" of 50% and at a size of 13, begin to smudge both of the blood layers as I have done below.
