Creating a navigation header for a music site

Start by creating a new file for your header size. Fill the background with a dark gray color.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.
Enable subtract form shape area form the top bar.

Create a circular shape using elliptical shape tool over the rectangle.
Create another circle on the other side.

Select the resulting shape and press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. From the top bar select preset warp shape arc upper.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Insert cutouts of speaker on both sides of the header.

Create a circular shape using elliptical shape tool. This will serve as a button for links.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.

 

Duplicate the button three times and place below each other.
Type the button links and the URL of the site.
Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool. We use the round corner radius 10 pixels.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
On the yellow bar type welcome massage. Insert a cutout of leads and type in "Plug In ". Rotate the text.
