Creating a logo for a restaurant

Start by creating an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.

Select the ellipse path with direct selection tool. Select convert point tool and click on right and left node.

Using custom shape tool create a circular frame shape and place as shown.

Create a triangle using custom shape tool.

Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select flip vertical. Double click the shape to submit the change. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select Warp. Adjust the top handles to create a curve as shown.

Create a glass shape using pen tool as shown.

Select all layers and rotate a bit.

Using elliptical shape tool create a couple of ellipses in the glass.

Using custom shape tool create a few circular frame shapes of very small size to create bubbles coming out of drink.

Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Move this layer behind all layers in layer order in layer palette.

Enable "subtract from shape area" at the top bar. Using pen tool create a shape as shown in the image below.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Select the rectangle layer. Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection. From select menu apply modify>>contract. Contract the selection by 2 pixels. Create a new layer. Fill the selection with black to white gradient.
